A short walk along one of the most beautiful stretches of the River Thames, between Remenham and Hambleden Lock, returning over low hills with views over the Thames to the Chilterns. Suitable for a family walk, the route is level, other than the climb out of Aston and there are refreshments available at Hambleden Lock in the summer and at the Flowerpot Inn in Aston. Look out for rowing crews practising on the river near Temple Island, the many swans, ducks and geese on the river and the spectacular weir at Hambleden Lock.
